Riley & Kirstie

Almost every wedding has its moments of surprise and the unexpected. This one was no exception Haha! But we rolled with the punches. Between the off and on rainy weather and the very large wedding party, it kept me on my toes! But check out these images! Totally worth it.

Riley & Kirstie were so much fun to work with. They were up for anything didn't sweat the small stuff. They put on a fabulous party and the food was second to none, (as only The White Bull cafe can serve). Not to mention the delicious donut board provided by the longstanding institution that is the Drayton Valley Bakery.

I'm always so pleasantly amazed at the creativity of some of the venues that my couples choose and Riley & Kirstie's was over and above! The groom's father has meticulously built an entire empty village on their property complete with a chapel. The details were beautiful. It was such a pretty spot for the ceremony and to be able to set up and get out of the rain for photos. And yes, I asked if he was open to renting it out to others and unfortunately the answer was no haha. Regardless, it was perfect! Ad that to the gorgeous colours of sage green, white and burnt orange and the beautiful pampas grass.. speechless.

I stayed late to capture every moment, but it was so worth it. What a stunning day!
